Micro R/C Airplane and Helicopter Price Index Updated

I guess today it is supposed to start feeling like summer (or at least spring) again here in Colorado. As such, I have updated the Micro R/C Airplane and Helicopter Price Index. I am planning on updating it more frequently. And if there are new planes out there that need to be added, leave a comment and I’ll get it taken care of.

    I’m reading your posts!
My father-in-law bought the R.S. Bladerunner version of the micro mosquito when he found out I ordered (what I thought) was an Alany model micro mosquito. It flies great, easy to master, but the rotors are easily broken. Especially in the hands of a two-year-old!
For those of you that are thinking about getting a micro mosquito off EBay– make SURE of what you are getting. the auction I bid on had a picture of the Alany model. In the item description it said it was manufactured by “private label”. What I received was not the Alany pictured, but an “Airplane Small Aircraft” made by Nature Moo-Cow. No, I’ve never heard of that company before, either. Yes, it was a POOR knock-off. It still had the stringy things sticking out on the rotors from when the plastic was molded, the motor gears weren’t even round, and when I got it out of the box, charged and all, it didn’t even work! After fooling around with the controls for a few minutes, I got the main rotors to actuate momentarily– both in the same direction. I don’t know if it was due to one motor being wired backwards or one just didn’t work at all, either or, the P.O.S. was a cruddy build on top of being defective. So to potential EBayers– make sure you know what you are buying!
